About Mason
I’m a 30 year-old working as a php developer in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley. While I’m happy in my current job, I’m always curious about what else is out there. I am not actively looking for a new job, but if someone thinks they’ve got a great opportunity, I’ll at least hear them out.
I’ve worked independently in the past but find it stimulating to work alongside other people like myself. Techies, geeks, sci-fi enthusiasts, you get the picture. I like collaborating on coding projects with others who have different strengths than me and who I can both assist and be assisted by. I enjoy being in a group of people where, when there’s a new development in computing or web standards, they’re interested in discussing it and finding out how or whether to incorporate it in future projects.
I have a good work ethic and a fun personality. I generally fit in well with others and am motivated to constantly grow and learn new things.
If you found this page because you’re looking for a PHP developer, and after reading this you think I’m exactly what you need, then feel free to leave a comment, send an email or give me a call. I’ll take the time to listen and keep an open mind to whatever you have to offer.
As of October 2009, the primary reason for this blog’s existence is as a repository for my research and writing as I prepare a series of advanced PHP video tutorials. I welcome feedback and criticism. If you see anything where my writing is unclear, or if I’ve actually made a mistake on some point, please don’t hesitate to point it out in the comments! And if you come across anything that really helps your understanding on some point, please let me know that too.
